After-school programs provide students with academic enrichment activities after the school day ends. These programs can be offered in many different ways and formats focusing on the needs of the students.
Weekend programs offer students academic enrichment activities on weekends. These programs can be a good option for students who are too busy during the week to participate in after-school programs.
Our summer programs offer students academic enrichment activities during the summer break. These programs can be a good way for students to prevent summer learning loss and get a head start on the next school year.
Our online programs offer students academic enrichment activities through the internet. These programs can be a good option for students who live in rural areas or who have difficulty accessing in-person programs.

Meeting our youth where they are
Explore YES America through workshops and other learning experiences.
We will tailor approaches to resonate with specific age groups within the youth population: their interests, needs, and preferred communication methods.
Conduct workshops where young people already gather, like after-school programs, community centers, parks, sporting events, or even popular video game platforms.
Collaborate with schools, other youth foundations, youth clubs, Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCAs, or faith-based organizations that already have established relationships with young people.
Empower young people to take leadership, present information to target audiences, and learn to be a voice, spread the message within their peer groups.
Create opportunities for young people to express their needs and concerns. Show genuine interest in their lives and listen to their feedback.
Utilize platforms like Instagram, TikTok, or Snapchat to share relevant content, announcements, and stories in a way that resonates with young people.
Use videos, polls, interactive quizzes, or challenges to capture their attention and make the message memorable.
Ensure communication materials are optimized for mobile devices and help many young people access information.
Our plan
Expanding our reach across the nation
Collaborate with national youth organizations, educational institutions, or advocacy groups that share our mission, including Boys & Girls Clubs of America, YMCA of the USA and the National Council of Youth Organizations.
Partner with local community centers, Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCAs, after-school programs, or school districts to establish a national presence with local roots. Offer training or support to empower youth to deliver the programs through presentations.
Seek partnerships with government agencies that fund youth education initiatives, to serve underprivileged communities — for example the Department of Education, the Department of Labor, AmeriCorps and the Department of Social Services.
Develop online learning modules, virtual workshops, or mentorship programs accessible to youth nationwide.
Create a mobile app that delivers educational content, interactive activities, or gamified learning experiences that are engaging and accessible on the go.
Utilize social media and radio platforms.
Create informative and engaging content.
We will secure placements in national publications, educational websites, or educational podcasts — for example National Geographic Education, The New York Times Learning Network and NPR Ed.
We will share success stories as learning progresses from personal, private, and public persons or organizations.
Attend or sponsor national youth conferences to connect with young people from across the nation — for example the National Youth Leadership Council Conference and The UNITY: Advancing Racial Healing & Justice Conference.
Partner with young people who have established followings on social media to promote youth programs and services.
We are committed to a referral initiative which allows participants to spread the word about the programs within their communities.
Our programs and services can be adapted and implemented effectively in all communities across the nation.
Programs are designed to incorporate cultural differences. However, approaches can be adapted to resonate with various youth populations.
Programs can be offered in multiple languages, providing closed captioning for videos, or developing alternative learning methods to ensure inclusivity.
